Patient specific  implant are 3D bioprinted custom-made matrices to match the patient’s bone defect. Consequently, using them helps to reduce the duration of surgery and needs of screws for fixation. One of the advantages of these scaffolds is the three-dimensional architecture, which simulates the extracellular matrix of bone tissue and encourages cell proliferation and differentiation.
